COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW OF MOVEMENT DISORDERS FOR THE CLINICAL PRACTITIONERS

This course is designed for general neurologists, neurology residents, and others in the health profession who wish to enhance their knowledge of movement disorders. This program will deal with classification of these disorders, their differential diagnosis and treatment. The goals of the course are twofold: to introduce the field to the novice, and to increase the level of knowledge of current practitioners in the field. This material will be presented in four morning sessions utilizing didactic lectures and videotape demonstrations. The format of the program is intended to provide ample time for questions and discussion following each presentation. Participants are encouraged to bring interesting cases from their own practice for presentation during the "Night Video Rounds" session.
